The project is a compact, bipedal humanoid that will rely on a PA-CF 3D-printed chassis and 21 actuators. I need a complete mechanical design package created exclusively in Fusion 360, ready for immediate prototyping and eventual low-volume production. Scope of work – Model the entire skeleton, shell and joint architecture so every component is ready for direct PA-CF printing without post-machining. – Integrate 21 actuators (servo or BLDC) with realistic torque, weight and envelope constraints; include mounts, brackets, gear trains or harmonic drives where necessary. – Optimise wall thicknesses, ribs and lattice infill for strength-to-weight, thermal dissipation and print time. – Plan fasteners, cable routing and access points to keep the robot serviceable. – Apply DFM/DFAM principles throughout, detailing print orientation, support strategy and critical tolerances. Deliverables • Native Fusion 360 file set (components, assemblies, motion study) • Exported STEP and STL files for every part ready for slicing • 2D fabrication drawings with critical dimensions and tolerances • Assembly drawings, exploded views and labelled BOM • Brief DFM report summarising print settings, material usage and post-processing notes Acceptance criteria A design review in Fusion 360 using the web viewer will confirm fit, actuator clearances, weight targets and printability on a 300 × 300 × 400 mm build volume before final sign-off. When you respond, please highlight your direct experience with robotics or load-bearing 3D-printed assemblies in Fusion 360.

Drawing from robust experience in 3D CAD, especially with robotics and load-bearing 3D-printed systems using Fusion 360, I believe I'm the ideal candidate for this intricate project. Your vision of a bipedal humanoid robot engineered specifically for PA-CF Chassis and with a sustainable list of deliverables leave no room for oversight, which I guarantee. My extensive mechanical engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills provide the ammunition needed to ensure every component, actuator, and joint is deftly integrated, optimized for performance from strength-to-weight ratio to thermal dissipation while adhering to your dimensional tolerances to the letter. Additionally, as an aficionado of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) approach so critical to your project requirements, I will apply DFM/DFAM techniques throughout the design process and clearly document all print settings, material usage notes and any post-processing details. In tandem with DFM principles, I will deploy Fusion 360's powerful capabilities like motion study analysis on each assembly and incorporate fasteners, run cable routes and install access points that'll enable easy future servicing of the robot. Furthermore,I will provide outputs in both native Fusion 360 file sets, exported STEP and STL files for slicing, fabrication drawings with critical dimensions and tolerances, ssembly drawings, and a DFM summary detailing material utilisation. potential.

Hello, I reviewed the requirements, and the core challenge is developing a complete 21-actuator humanoid assembly that balances structural strength, weight, actuator clearances, serviceability, and reliable PA-CF printing without post-machining. I would build the full chassis, shell, joints, actuator mounts, transmission interfaces, fasteners, cable routing, and printable components natively in Fusion 360, with DFAM-focused wall thicknesses, ribs, tolerances, orientations, and assembly clearances. I have direct experience with robotics CAD and load-bearing 3D-printed assemblies, including Fusion 360 mechanical modelling, actuator integration, functional joints, structural optimisation, and prototype-ready part development, and can share relevant examples once we connect in chat. I would also prepare the complete STEP/STL set, fabrication and assembly drawings, exploded views, labelled BOM, motion study, and concise DFM documentation for the 300 × 300 × 400 mm build constraints. Also a quick question, are the 21 actuators already selected with exact models and datasheets, or should their mechanical envelopes and mounting interfaces be established during the design? Best Regards, Muskan

Hello, The key challenge is designing a lightweight but load-capable humanoid chassis in Fusion 360 where the 21 actuators, joints, fasteners, and cable routing all work together without compromising printability or serviceability. I can develop the complete skeleton, shell, joint architecture, actuator mounts, gear or harmonic-drive interfaces, and structural features specifically for PA-CF printing within your 300 × 300 × 400 mm build volume. The design will account for wall thickness, ribs, tolerances, print orientation, support strategy, actuator envelopes, clearances, and assembly access, with native Fusion 360 components and assemblies maintained throughout. I have experience with robotics-focused mechanical design and load-bearing 3D-printed assemblies and can share relevant examples once we connect in chat. Also a quick question, do you already have the 21 actuator models/specifications, or should their envelopes and mounting interfaces be established from the required torque and weight targets? Best regards, MadTech
