I want to automatically backup Outlook 2010 64 bit version. I'm told i must create a BAT file that runs at startup to copy the PST(s) before I start Outlook. Can someone do that? I am using Windows 7 64bit and Outlook 2010 64bit

hey- yes, we have to create a BAT file and get it invoked from the Outlook macro. One other way is to do the backup directly in the macro. We can get this done in 1 hour, please reply, thank you !

Hi, I just wrote the code, its a BAT file which you shall run instead of your Outlook, every time it makes a copy of your pst file and then run your Outlook. easy
I'm admin for 250 PC's. I have experience with exchange servers and the "bat script" I can make it in 15 minutes via TeamViewer. Best Regards, Mihai Opricescu. Skype id: [url removed, login to view]

I actually have done this myself for years now. Would be happy to provide you with a copy of my BAT file with complete instructions on where to place the file.
