No suitable relationship(s) with a contractor(s) has been secured yet to help stop the golf industry (and in particular the laughable clubfitting trade) from continuing its extremely embarrassing decline and to help reverse the direction of this bungling trade.
Briefly, the device(s) likely comprises 3-D wireless motion detection that likely attaches to a golf club and accurately gathers 3-D golf club motion and position data with respect to time during any given golfer's pre-swing movement (before a golf swing even begins). Further required is appropriate software programming to decipher a critical pre-swing rotation point location (which most golfers will have but at different locations) along the length of the golf club.
The determined rotation point location is then applied (in the form of an adjustable fulcrum location) on a discrete scale (also needed), which cumulatively results in a new golf club balancing specification named "waggle weight." For those familiar with golf, this is a badly needed advancement of the already-long-proven golf club specification named swingweight. Time is of the essence, with a previous contractor failing miserably for two years for a contracted six-week time frame to develop a functional unit and then sadly suffering a stroke literally days before it was finally to be completed. He never really provided any usable written documentation for anyone else to work from regarding any part of the project, there is no indication that he will ever be capable of resuming work on the project, and the patent protection period has now dwindled drastically.
Furthermore, virtually my entire prototype budget was given to him and is now presumed to be totally lost (as no one associated with this contractor has had the simple courtesy to provide business updates at reasonable intervals regarding his condition), so the budget for an initial prototype or model (until it can first be proven that the system works satisfactorily) is quite limited. But once proven, appropriate credit will be given and publicized where due and the funds necessary will be spent to further develop and commercialize the system with a good and strategic partnership(s) that can hopefully be established from this point forward.
