I would like to be able to display a midi timecode meter in Rainmeter. In order to achieve this, a plugin must be programmed that can "snif" a midi timecode Input.
I am generating Midi Timecode in Ableton Live. The Timecode is sent to a Midi-USB interface. That interface is connected to a second interface and a second computer via USB again.
On this second computer I do not need any program to sync with this Timecode, I simply want to display the Timecode clock in a elegant way on my desktop and have it always remain on top of my other applications. For this, I would like to use Rainmeter.
The style, size and position of the Timecode clock can be easily managed with Rainmeter by myself or any other user. But in order to write a Rainmeter skin that can use Midi Timecode information, a plugin needs to be written that can by used by Rainmeter. Rainmeter makes it easy for 3rd party developers to add plugins and write skins for them and distribute them with the Rainmeter Skin Installer.
Knowledge of Rainmeter is necessary as well as a basic understanding of how Midi Timecode works.
