Hi, I can help deliver this project for you. Essentially, read the csv to get the appropriate column for the product description, then for that column remove the html tags and export the value (and related values as required) to another file. The new file can be a stand alone file or i can add the value to some other existing file which has all details except the product description. I am proficient in Python and have over 17 years experience in designing and developing software applications. I've mentioned 3 days to ensure that i spend the first day in understanding the requirements and doing a rough prototype - on the second day i will be able to provide you with the completed script and will use the 3rd day for making changes (if any). I plan to use the html2text package that you mentioned in your project description but in case it does not meet your requirement of retaining the line breaks am open to writing a set of rules which will do the conversion. My bid is slightly more than the amount you had specified but i believe that it would be worth the additional spend. This task should be a very easy task to implement, either as a stand-alone application from the command line, or to integrate into existing Python code. The code can either use html2text to strip all the HTML tags and insert line breaks or, I can program the code to maintain line breaks but follow custom rules for stripping out HTML tags.

There are a few python modules that do a similar conversion (csv2html might be the best for your application). I would be able to get you something within a day or two to try and then finalize with any changes you'd like in the following day.
