Simple SoftPhone interface in MS Dynamics for an UC API Integration

We need to develop a small SoftPhone app within MS Dynamics to integrate with our Unified communication Platform.

The UC has an well documented API that will provide all necessary details for:

• Make Call (click to dial on any phone numbers in MSD = API call to the UC API)

• Receive Call (display details of caller + answer/Decline button)

• Hang-Up call (API call to hang-up call received)

• Decline call ((API call to decline call received))

• Transfer call to a different MSD user (via search function)

• Display Call History

We will need to have the following features within our SoftPhone App interface within MS Dynamics:

- receive a call - display details of caller (Name, Job Description, Company) + answer/Decline button)

- search the number calling against contacts in MS Dynamics

- pop up the contacts form of the person calling (if number saved in MS Dynamics)

- if new Number then provide the ability to:

a. search contact to update with new number or

b. Create new contact with the new number

- once call is answer provide a text box to take notes while on the phone

- save the notes within the activity/tasks associated with teat contact/account in MS Dynamics

- add call dispositions to the notes (Tick Box for: Support / Sales / Finance / Other)

- each note should also automatically capture: 1. Calling number 2. called Number, Time of call, Duration of the call, contact details of the person calling if saved in CRM

- each note should have a unique name based on Time Stamp and contact calling

The application will need to include a clear delivery solution in MS Dynamics (How to deliver it to the customer using the CRM and how to provide version updates without impacting activity)
