programing tools and commands for a cad software -- 3

Hello. We need somebody who develops continually tolls for a CAD Software. The first task: We need a tool that activates Objects within the cad software Vectorworks. I ckick at the tool. Afterwards I klick at any object of the drawing, for example a line. Now all the visible lines of the drawings should be directly activated. In the settings of the tool there should be two options a) Activate tools with the same affiliation for layer, class and layer/screen plane. Example: there are four lines with layer=Design Layer 1, class=none, plane=screen,three lines with layer=Design Layer 1, class=none, plane=Layer,two lines with layer=Design Layer 2, class=none, plane=screen->Result: only two, three or four lines will be activated, belonging on which line the user will click. b) Activate tools with exactly the same attribute settings.The objects must have exactly the same line style- type -weight, pen fore -back color and pattern,fill fore -back color and pattern, opacity, gradient- hatch- image fill, tile fill, marker size - style. In the settings we need for a) and b) two checkboxes. The tool must work with option a) AND b) as well. The programing language is python.
