Receive order in fax/email - Read Scan & Attach fax/email to Order Details - FIll out from message order details - Send to Regional Operation Manager.
Operation Manager Checks Order is correctly filled and is assigned to correct warehouse location & Supervisor and approves order.
Supervisor assigns vehicle lists and cycles to cover as many orders per day on first ordered first served basis.
Collection team receive packing vehicle packing tasks and labels orders into vehicles.
Supervisor checks order fulfillment and approves driver to depart.
Driver rechecks all assigned labels are in vehicle and starts journey.
Journey best route auto-generated and driving assistant is employed to lead journey route (such as google maps).
Upon arrival at each stop the driving assistant requests confirmation of dispatch for the labels to the customer name verified by the customer's signature.
Upon completion of journey the vehicle is assigned to go back to the warehouse and is turned off for at least 15 minutes until the new order is packed and approved for new journey.
Other wanted capabilities:
Ability for operation management and general management to monitor all vehicles on a map and navigate the vehicle details and journey plans, add vehicles, add employees, call the vehicle driver/supervisor.
Ability for supervisor to create a vehicle order list for different vehicle types per journey which integrated the allowed quantity, to assign the orders list to each vehicle.
Ability for General management to review vehicle maps & journey plans, all orders, risks and reports - Ability to add employees - Ability to add vehicles.
I am sales rep currently working on the requirements mentioned above to present to a client who is a local producer of fruits & vegetable, they plant-cure-stock-deliver or import-stock-deliver. There is an extensive vision for what they want for next development stages but the mentioned above is the starting point and the minimal requirement.
The extended vision looks to integrate the farming procedure - planting - monitoring - notifying harvest and curing ability for produce - assign warehouse and update quantities with best practices of decisions.
