Project Summary: -
We would like to develop a database-driven marketing application which would get data from 3 sources i.e. web clickstream, data entry screens with-in the application and offline data feeds comprising of cost of goods sold data. These data elements would be processed based on certain business rules and manifest the results in the form of a marketing dashboard. The whole idea behind this application is to calculate the lifetime value of the customer, and educate the marketing team on how to optimize the marketing budget across multiple marketing channels and generate a better ROI.
Important Info - The above marketing application would serve a persistent first party cookie in the visitor browser and store a unique customer ID which would be fetched on every return visit on the website. This would allow us to determine, how many visitor touchpoints are contributing in the final conversion acivity.
