Custom packaged product Magento plugin compatible with Amazon A “packaged product” is a product made up of multiple simple products. We are looking for a developer to create a plugin or modify a plugin that we can use to create and sell packaged products. We have tested this plugin: Package Product Type Plugin ([login to view URL]). It works for creating packaged products and selling them on our website, but is not compatible with our Amazon integration. Currently, we use M2E [login to view URL] to integrate with Amazon. When we try to upload a packaged product created with the Package Product Type plugin, we get a message that says parent child products are not allowed. Requirements: • Create Packaged Product out of multiple simple products • Available QTY of packed products = the number of packaged products that can be created from the inventory of the simple product inventory • Works just like a simple product with M2E (Amazon Integration) Here is an example: XYZ Packaged Product includes the following simple products: • QTY 2 – SKU1 • QTY 1 – SKU2 • QTY 1 – SKU3 We have the following in stock: • QTY 10 – SKU1 • QTY 10 – SKU2 • QTY 10 – SKU3 Therefore, we can make QTY 5 XYZ Packs If we sold QTY 2 Packs the new inventory would be: • QTY 6 – SKU1 (-4) • QTY 8 – SKU2 (-2) • QTY 8 – SKU3 (-2)
