Key Objectives: Seamless Migration: Migrate users, groups, contacts, and computers from the source AD forest to the destination forest. Ensure the preservation and integrity of all AD attributes throughout the migration process. Password Synchronization: Establish a secure and efficient mechanism to synchronize user passwords between the source and destination AD forests. Eliminate the need for users to reset passwords post-migration. Computer Transition: Disjoin computers from the source AD domain and rejoin them to the destination AD domain. Preserve user profiles and permissions on computers during the transition. Zero Downtime: Ensure that end-users experience no downtime during the migration process. Allow for coexistence between source and target environments until the migration is complete. Real-Time Directory Synchronization: Keep source and target directories synchronized in real-time. Ensure consistency of passwords, account attributes, and group memberships. Security Identifier (SID) History Preservation: Maintain SID history to ensure continued access to resources post-migration. Proactive Issue Identification: Identify potential issues and dependencies before they impact the migration. Enable proactive resolution to prevent disruptions.
