I feel I would be a solid candidate for your project. I have developed since it was originally FoxBase, So FoxBase, FoxPro, and currently Visual FoxPro 9.0 are all no problems. I also for my full-time project work with C#.Net working with WPF and have written my own data connection handler to centralize all queries for connection handling vs being buried all over a system.
Although I have no experience with Cricket Matches, but given old code and having specifications, I can basically overcome anything in the VFP world. Just an off-shoot example, I had to write my own C++ DLL to generate PDF417 (2d-barcodes) and was just given the ISO specification and completed that in short time.
I regularly am out at stack overflow dot com and offer assistance in things such as C#, wpf, VFP, OleDb, etc and my user name out there is also drapp if you want to review any such sanity on my querying capabilities, ability to communicate and articulate how / why things work the way they do, etc.
If you have any questions and respond back here, I will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
