I am a C# programmer with only a working knowledge of C++. I have been provided the source code for a third party DLL and all of the include files. In Visual Studio 2010, I can compile the DLL in Debug mode without any problems. As soon as I switch to Release mode, VS complains that a single include file cannot be found. I see the file. I can find the file. But for some reason, the compiler cannot find the file based on the existing include statement.
For the seasoned C++ programmer, this is going to be child's play so I don't expect this will take more than 5 or 10 minutes of someone's time.
Having said that, I have a requirement for ON-GOING support of this nature from time to time -- including on occasion some low-level programming projects that employ Kernel mode approaches (for now, in Windows).
So this project has 2 focuses:
1. I obviously need to solve this simple problem.
2. I would like to develop a "very short" list (e.g., 2 or 3) advanced C++ programmers that I can approach for future work and possibly some complicated and very challenging projects. For this reason, I will be reviewing your resume, past projects and Freelancer feedbacks.
To demonstrate to me that you have read this project's requirements and not simply submitted an "auto-bid or canned response", please reply with the keyword "KERNEL".
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

Can you please send me the source code of the project so that I may attempt to get some insight. And to counter the auto-bid scheme here is your pass phrase "KERNEL". Cheers.
KERNEL. I've read through the description and very interested in this work and future support work of your project. I'm a experienced C++ programmer and I can help you in product development and problems solving.
