A freelancer is needed to write a multi-threaded Linux daemon for IPC using local sockets.
The server acts as a host to multiple (quantity variable) socket connections.
The daemon sends and receives "messages" for all connected clients.
When a client connects to the daemon, it will subscribe to a message.
A message sent by a client to the daemon, will be broadcast to all other connected clients
which have subscribed to the message.
In addition to the server daemon, an example client application would need to be provided.
You would be able to launch multiple instances of the example client and send/receive messages between them.
The example client application would be a terminal application.

This project is for IPC between multiple applications all which are local.
Uses Unix domain sockets.
It is not for use with network sockets or designed to work across networks.
Does not use TCP/UDP or any network protocol.
