A worker is needed to write functions in C.
This is for a legacy program running on the MS-DOS platform.
You must maintain compatibility with OpenWatcom C or possibly Turbo C compiler.
You will be required to read and write to a generic device attached to the parallel port.
The values are returned in bytes which must be formed with other bytes to form an integer.
The result will be stored or read as global variables.
You will also have to read/write character strings to and from the device.
These are stored and read as global variables.
Light parsing is required.
The parallel port will be operating in EPP mode.
Luckily, the device interface is very clear.
Having the device with you is not necessary.
