Smart Home Lighting Design

A full lighting concept is needed for my home, built around an app-controlled system and wall panels using Loxone system. Because I rely on a platform outside of Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa, the solution has to remain brand-agnostic and communicate over standard integrations (e.g., Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, or a proprietary bridge that exposes an open API). Scope of work • Develop a room-by-room lighting plan that indicates fixture types, wattage, colour-temperature range, and dimming zones. • Specify hardware, gateways, and drivers that will let me steer the lights entirely from a mobile app. • Program—or clearly document—three core scenes: Relaxation mode (warm, low-level ambience), Party mode (dynamic colour or rhythm-based effects), and Reading mode (focused neutral-white task lighting). • Provide commissioning steps so I can load these scenes into the chosen app without additional licensing or cloud fees. Deliverables will be reviewed on the ability to reproduce each scene from the phone within two taps, smooth dimming from 0–100 %, and consistent colour rendering across all fixtures.
