I need an LS-DYNA simulation that captures the response of an NRC slab to an air-blast load. My objective sits outside the usual “structural integrity”, “wave propagation”, or “material failure” categories; the focus is a project-specific performance criterion that I will detail once we start. The scope is limited to the slab itself—I am not analysing walls, beams, or foundations. You will receive complete input data: concrete material properties, slab dimensions and thickness, plus full reinforcement details. Your task is to translate that information into an explicit LS-DYNA model, apply the appropriate blast loading (pressure–time history), and run the transient analysis through to stable completion. Please include sensible contact definitions, boundary conditions that reflect the NRC context, and a mesh that balances accuracy with runtime. Deliverables: • LS-DYNA keyword file(s) ready to run • Post-processing outputs (time-histories, contour plots of stress, displacement, reinforcement strain) in an accessible format • A short report summarising modelling assumptions, key results, and any recommendations for refinement The work is considered complete when the model converges without critical errors and reproduces the requested performance metrics for at least one sensitivity check on mesh size or load resolution.
