Scaling Photos to Life Size.
For a medical research project, I need practitioners to take profile photos of patients (we will mandate that they save such photos in JPGG format). We then want them to be able to scale the photos so that they can be printed out as exactly life size images.
To allow them to do this they will be provided with a 50mm measure that they are to feature in the photos. We then need them to be able to scale the photos easily using the 50mm measure featured in each photo.
The final photos, once scaled to life-size need to be printed on an A3 sheet image placed vertically with chin at the bottom, the forehead at the top and the whole of the nose (including the tip of the nose) showing. The 50 mm measure or marker is simply used to help the practitioner resize the phot so that when printed the face it is at full life-size scale. Once the a3 photo is printed, a pespex overlap is used to allow the practitioner to assess the facial development. I attach a photo of the template and a picture of the marker on an A3 sheet.
We need a photo sizing program or an automated script to be used with a commonly available image printing program to allow the practitioners to resize and orient the pictures correctly for printing.
