I created a Word Add-In that displays a group of macros in a list on the Word toolbar. Users simply click on the toolbar heading and a list of 20+ macros will appear in the menu. They then select the macro name and it runs the appropriate macro.
I added a new macro that works fine when executing manually (using Alt-F8), but I cannot get the new macro to appear in the dropdown list.
You are bidding on a Job that is to get the macro name to appear in the macro list on the toolbar and to explain what you did to get it to appear in the list.
I have attached the [url removed, login to view] template, which contains the Add-In and which should allow you to view the macro code and to also see the Heading and Macro List after you click on the Heading.
We use Word 2003 and any solution must run on this version of Word.
NOTE: I attached a 2007 .dotm file in the original post, but forgot to include the original 2003 .dot file. That is now attached, too. The address macro that is in the dotm and not in the dot is named OakForest, that is the address macro I need to appear in the dropdown macro list.
ALSO: A couple of coders have said that what I want to do is not in the [url removed, login to view] file, it is done via another mechanism. However, that si not true. If I copy the .dot file on to any PC, when I restart Word, the menu option is there. If I revert back to the old .dot file, the menu item disappears.
The job is to get the menu item listed with all macros, and it must follow with the .dot file, as it does now. I may be able to pay $5 more than bid amount if solution takes too much time.
