The purpose of software is to manage usage and maintenance of the Smart Light Cap Lamps in the mining environment. Web based system with Linux SERVER running PostgreSql/MySql. Setup information inserted semi-automatically and manually. Running and diagnostic information collected from devices connected via RS485 bus. Communication between SERVER and RS485 bus using standard serial protocol. We will supply an online Debian Wheezy server (Sql, Apache, Python, etc.....) configured for external access with the devices connected permanently for development and testing purpose. Software must be written the way that introduction of the new language (English standard, French, Spanisch etc...) requires only a new table with commands instructions and descriptions. Project would be divided into three stages: 1. Communication wrapper sending commands (8 commands in hex format ea. 0x44) to the serial ports and handling responses showing them interpreted on the "black" screen. 2. Basic simple web based GUI allowing commands with the parameters to be sent and responses to be shown in a human readable way. 3. Data base storing responses and high quality web based GUI allowing sending commands and displaying responses and reports in easily readable format. Live server access with the cap lamp setup will be provided to the "short listed" bidders. Bidding can be done for each stage separately but the total solution is preferred
