simple 1 page web app - ruby on rails

You need to build a 1 page web app, that uses some ajax, using ruby on rails. we are making a simple 1 page web page to do a demonstration. We have device that reads serial numbers. we want to demonstrate how it reads serial numbers, and how it can detect if a serial number goes missing. see screenshots "[login to view URL]" the web app will be running on a ubuntu. when the page is open, it will ping a device, and if the device pings good, the it the UI should show ONLINE. if the device is online, then the Start Button will be clickable. otherwise the Start button will be faded. when they click on START, you wil run a command in the background example "Read [login to view URL]" when this is executed, the read software will start to read serial numbers, into the postgres DB, into a specific table. NOTE: the "read" program is already working. you do not have to do any programming for this. for example the table will then have 100 unique serial numbers. the UI must quickly animate and show the numbers increasing as more and more unique serial numbers are read in to the table. this must be a smooth counting up number, so that it looks nice to the user. after 50 seconds, or we can add a button that says "next", the user will remove some serial numbers. and then at that point you must show the MISSING red image, and display which serial numbers are no longer beeing seen. estimated total time to do this project 1 hour PSD > HTML 2-3 hours logic programming 2-3 hours on special effects and ajax 3 hours quality control total time : 10 hours Here are my requirements: - the whole work has to be done remotly via teamviewer - i will work with a programmer directly. i will not work with middlemen and project managers. - working hours - must be available USA California time. - must have a stable fast internet / power - must have cellphone for emergency - must have skype with voice calling and good microphone - must speak basic English - do not apply for this job if you do not have good exprience Ruby on rails. otherwise i will know, and give you a really bad rating for wasting my time!!!
