Hi,
I don't have much Rails experience as I've only recently started working with Ruby and Rails, but I do have a strong drive to learn everything I can about it and have invested a fair amount of time lately to do just that. Having an opportunity to work with more experienced people would be an ideal next step for me.
You, on the other hand, would get someone to mold into exactly the tool you need :) I'm a very fast learner and I would adapt to working in your environment quickly.
I have an extensive experience with other languages and libraries (PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, Coffeescript, some Python), databases, server administration (various Linux distros on VPS/dedicated servers and AWS).
I know you most probably intended to hire someone with more Rails experience, but please think about it and I hope to hear from you soon :)
Take care,
Alex
