We operate a fly ash brick manufacturing plant. Bricks are produced by a brick machine and come out on steel plates/pallets containing approximately 10–12 bricks per plate. Currently, workers manually pick up these plates using carts and transport them to the drying yard, where bricks are placed in straight rows for sun drying. We are looking for an experienced Robotics / Automation / Mechatronics Engineer to design and develop a custom Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) or Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solution. Requirements: • Automatically pick up brick plates from the brick machine. • Navigate autonomously to the outdoor drying area. • Place bricks/plates in predefined straight rows similar to manual labor placement. • Return automatically to the brick machine for the next cycle. • Outdoor operation in dusty industrial conditions. • Battery-powered system preferred. • Safety sensors and obstacle avoidance. • Complete mechanical, electrical, and software design required. Please include in your proposal: Relevant AGV/robotics/automation experience. Photos/videos of similar projects. Suggested technology (PLC, ROS, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
