Your task is to contact the candidate’s former employer(s), confirm dates of employment, job title and, when available, reason for departure, then compile the findings into a concise report (PDF or Excel is fine). All communication must comply with German GDPR requirements, so please ask only for information the employer is legally allowed to share and secure the records appropriately. I will supply the candidate’s signed consent form and their résumé; you handle the outreach, follow-up, and evidence collection (e-mail confirmation, signed letter, or official HR stamp). Deliverable for each candidate: • Verification summary page with confirmed (or unconfirmed) data • Supporting proof from the employer (e-mail thread, letter, or stamped form) • Notes on any discrepancies or issues encountered If you have local language skills (German/English) and prior experience with background checks in Germany, that will make the process smoother, but the key requirement is accuracy and a quick turnaround.
