''Catch me before a fall''
Hi, this is Bryson Henniger here. Have written many books on mental heath. The work usually involves at least some research, and then I'll draft a working outline, for myself, but I'll submit it to you before I start to wrestle with the keyboard. You may provide feedback which will change the working outline. (All part of the job.)
My instincts are very good, and I'm usually 'on target', especially when I know what the work is for, and who the target audience is.
By the way, as a professional writer, I prefer a conversational tone, but I’m versatile. I can write in whatever style may be appropriate for the material, for the work and for the audience targeted.
I'm always conscious of content, context & continuity. And, tone, mood, rhythm & flow. I believe the ear is the direct path into the brain and, even though I may play to the eye, I write for the ear. In the process, I'm aware of the choice of every word, whether key words are the 'right' words, the 'sounds' those words make, and how those 'sounds' impact the Reader.
Waiting for your reply. Thanks!
