Customer Service/Order Entry

Customer Service supports various Litehouse departments, including Sales, Scheduling, Warehouse, acting as a liaison between Litehouse and the customer. The CS department manages the life cycle of an order from entry to delivery.

Guiding Principles – Culture – Service:

1. Responsible for driving the Litehouse culture through company

2. Accountable for outstanding Customer service to all internal and

external Customers

3. Develop and maintain effective relationships through collaboration

and consistent timely communication

4. Help uphold a “Team Member” environment supporting others with

positive behavior

Essential Job Functions – Duties and Responsibilities

1. Serve as liaison between customer and/or broker and various depts. i.e.: transportation, scheduling, sales, production, warehouse etc.- 40%

2. Order entry and inform customers of prices, delivery dates, anticipated delays and any additional information required- 40%

3. Communicate/confirm total cost of orders in a timely manner- 10%

4. Maintain records for future research- 5%

5. Assist Accounts Receivable with deduction research- 5%

6. Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor. - On-going

7. Other activities and duties as assigned.- On-going

Minimum Qualifications Required to Perform Work:

1. Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent, one-year job related experience

2. Certifications : none

3. Experience: familiar with Microsoft office products, (Excel, Access) Ross, Smart Client a plus

4. Must be accurate, timely with attention to detail

5. Must have strong innovative problem solving and analytical skills

6. Ability to learn quickly, think creatively and prioritize duties

7. Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas effectively and efficiently

8. Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

9. Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company.

10. Ability to meet attendance requirements

1. Travel up to 0% of the time should be expected.
