This job requires a decision between animating straight into the final render engine or animating in a separate scene and then importing. I would animate in Blender directly for the final render, so there is less transferring and potential for error. I would build the scene setups first, then animate the character performances, so the cameras and lighting can be placed and adjusted to serve the acting. The lip sync would come after the main character animation is locked. I would use Blender for all of this, so the scene setup, animation, camera work, lighting and rendering are all in one package. For the lip sync, do you have a phoneme-based system ready for import into Blender, or would you need that developed? I need the storyboard and script to start.
