Good afternoon! I'm starting a new company and am looking for a talented and self-motivated developer to build the market-entry product (and then help us scale).
The product will allow investors to analyse the impact of speculation on the price of equities. A proof of concept has already been built and the idea has been proven in principle. We can share more details during an initial conversation.
We are currently a team of 2 working part time on the product alongside our full-time roles.
Operations and Product Management: I used to run a digital product agency and bring an abundance of technical and product management experience.
UX/UI Design: We have a talented designer who will be working closely with us to bring the product to life. She'll be working closely alongside me and will gradually take on more product management responsibilities over time.
**Who You Are**
Talented. Enthusiastic. Motivated. Reliable. Committed. Hard Working.
- You are someone who wants to help build a product from the ground up and become an invaluable part of our team - with all the opportunities of growth that will come from this.
- You are familiar with the technology stack below, or be willing to spend your own time learning it.
- You have an appreciation of quality of code and documentation. Your future team members will need to be able to read, comprehend and extend your code.
**Technology Stack and Tools**
UI Library: Storyboard
Product Management: Gitlab
Design: Figma, Miro
Analytics: Google Analytics
We will be adopting a variant of an Agile SCRUM development methodology. Familiarity with this model will be a plus. I'll be responsible for the product backlog and will run our Sprint Planning / Sprint Retrospectives meetings. We'll follow 2-week design sprints with our UX designer, and 2-week development sprints with you. Idea being that you will have a fully refined and well-designed user story backlog at all times.
**Budget and Commitment**
The software development budget currently stands at $400/month. You will need you to spend a minimum of 20 hours per 2 week sprint (40 hours a month) working on the product. Once the product starts generating revenue, we will increase development capacity, increase your hourly rate and there will be the option of turning this role into a full time position.
Looking forward to meeting you!
