MERN Full stack developer

Aila Health is an early stage precision medicine start-up seeking to fundamentally change the way autoimmune diseases are diagnosed and managed. We are seeking a full-stack engineer who can help bring the long-term engineering vision at Aila Health. It's an exciting opportunity to be part of a very small team, have complete ownership of the features you build, drive the product direction and grow along with the company.
You will report to the CTO and work closely with our Head of Product.
**Minimum qualifications**
* A minimum 3-5+ years of industry experience with proven track record to deliver testable and scalable products/ services.
* Excellent knowledge of computer science
* Extensive experience with full stack web architecture and development, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
* Project management skills: agile approach, scope of work creation, ability to deliver within deadlines
**Technical Requirements:**
* Cloud-based infrastructure experience
* Knowledge of data security standards and database modeling
* Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB, Cloud Firestore etc.
* Experience with REST API development and testing
* Experience with Micro Services architecture
* Experience with HTML, CSS, SCSS, Javascript
* Experience with frontend MVVM technologies like React, React Native and/or Angular
* Experience with Node Js and Express Js
* Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha/Jest/Jasmine
* DevOps experience
**Desired Qualifications: **
* Experience with Python
* Native iOS app development experience in SWIFT
* Native Android app development experience in Java/Kotlin
* Working knowledge of Java and Spring MVC
* Technical management and hiring experience
* Previous Startup experience
* Familiar with machine learning techniques and have worked on NLP / Image based entities extraction techniques.
* Autonomous, proactive, resourceful and solution-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Passionate about building a company that transforms the healthcare industry
* Strong desire to ‘learn the why’
