I need my Waveshare 3.5-inch screen working flawlessly on a Raspberry Pi 5 running the standard Raspberry Pi OS. The goal is simple: plug the display in, power up, and immediately have a responsive touch interface I can use for on-device controls. Please handle every step—kernel modules, device tree tweaks, driver installation, and touch-panel calibration—so that the display shows the primary desktop with full touch support (taps, long-press, drag). I’d like rotational settings and back-light adjustment documented as well, because the unit will be mounted vertically in an enclosure. > I already did connection of raspberry pi and display, but not getting op. so i want to find the reason and want solution of it Deliverables: • A repeatable setup script or set of commands with clear comments • Any configuration files you modify or create (/boot/[login to view URL], xinput calibration, etc.) • A short read-me describing how to re-flash or update the system without breaking the display Once the above is in place I’ll test basic interface control tasks—opening apps, dragging windows, and a quick Python GUI—to confirm everything responds accurately.
