There are websites like:
[url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]
that allow users to generate logos.
They seem to work by having a predefined list of fonts, icons, arrangments, colors that they shuffle together in different combinations. They also let the user select some preferences and do generation based on that.
I'm not interested in the preference selection part. I just want a command line tool in any language that will generate SVG logos in a similar way to these websites.
You can use any open source icon set (e.g [url removed, login to view]) for the icons, and same with fonts ([url removed, login to view]). The arrangements can be fairly straightforward, e.g.
- Icon left, heading right, subheading below heading
- Icon right, heading left, subheading below heading
- Icon middle, heading below icon, subheading below heading
and any more you can think of.
Also define a list of colours to choose from, or a way to generate good colour sets for a single logo - where the heading, subheading and icon can all be different colours.
