Raspberry Pi Software Development and Hardware Implementation

I want to develop a completely original code to be run on a Raspberry Pi which displays live tracking of tickers (cryptocurrency focused, but also able to integrate stock tickers as well). The display will be on an eInk screen, and will contain live updated information such as the dedicated ticker symbol, live price, and a candle chart.
There are several different examples to reference with OS MIT licenses. I have experience with coding, but not enough to develop this product from scratch.
Important notes:
-This is development of completely original code (not pulled from any existing sources), I have sources that are to serve as references only
-Python language
-Code is able to be modified simply (example: changing the tickers through source code, changing currencies, information refresh time, etc)
-Dedicated for use on a Raspberry Pi
-Dedicated for an eInk Display
