pacing guide creation

New project: OK, when I enroll a student in a curriculum, I want to make a copy of all of the assignments associated with that curriculum some way. Because I might have two students, in the same curriculum, but one might be exempt from one of the assignments listed. I'm trying to set up a list of assignments for them to do this week, but the assignment might be exempt for Suzie, but Johnny might need to do it. So, I don't think I can use the "Assignment" model for both of them, as the status will change from kid to kid. So, and correct me if I'm confused, I think, I will have to have a list of assignments for each student, so that I can customize? What do you think?
