Data Extraction from Open Source Projects

I require the data extraction with the following requirements: If you like to build on open source projects, here is a link to two of them: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] As a starter, you can install the two tools above to see how commit data is stored and add the following functionality to it. The tool in the second link can fetch commits from Git. Additional functionality can be added to the existing code. There are few pre-steps to the mailing list extraction as follows: 1) Extract the commit history of files in a project 2) Arrange them in ascending order 3) Filter the files that have no commits for one year 4) Find when was the next commit on file after one year's time 5) Who was the contributor in 4) 6) Link the contributor on the file in 5) with mailing list to locate if any relevant question was asked on file in mailing list 7) Populate the resulting messages in the format shown above. The results after mailing list links with the file committed should appear in the following format in excel: sender's e-mail, file_ name_committed, date sent, message subject, message body If there are more questions, please let me know
