Simply, the project is about a network security solution using SDN and Mininet. I want to simulate two scenario. First one : I want to create a topolgy in mininet, and configure an SDN controller (ryu if possible) in order to control the forwarding of the packets. the configuration consists of the following :
1-build SDN network with one controller and set of routers and nodes
2- Define a two rows table that indicate for each host all the hosts that can reach it based on the IP address ( first row of the table: IP address for the destination host. second row of the table: IP address for all the allowed origin hosts)
3- Dfine a rule to forward or drop based on the previous table. if the origin host is included on the second row of the table for a destination host than forward else drop.
Second scenario is similar to the first but in this case we will have two flows instead of one, for each flow there will be its own forwarding tables.
