Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RFP writer to help us with software license purchase and renewal and hardware procurement proposals for the US government. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in technical writing and be able to craft compelling proposals that accurately represent our needs and meet the requirements of potential vendors.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with our procurement and technical teams to understand the requirements and objectives for the software license purchase and renewal and hardware procurement proposals.
· Write technical RFPs that are detailed, clear, and effectively communicate our needs and expectations to potential vendors.
·
Edit and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
·
Communicate with potential vendors and answer any questions they may have regarding the RFP.
·
Participate in vendor selection and evaluation processes as needed.
Requirements:
· An experienced proposal writer who has helped win bids on proposals relating to IT hardware and software license subscriptions and renewals for the government.
At least 5 years of experience in writing software license purchase and renewal and hardware procurement proposals.
· Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to create concise, clear, and engaging content.
· Technical knowledge and understanding of software and hardware products and their procurement processes.
· Experience working with procurement and technical teams to understand and communicate technical requirements.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
