I am looking for a simple production tracking system that could utilize barcode or QR code labels attached to products that will go through a 4 phase process of: receiving raw product; testing the product to make sure it is operable; cleaning the product; and then entering it into saleable inventory. Ideally we'd use the barcode or QR code to check it out of one stage and into the next, or to expel it from our process because it is non-functional. The products are used electronics that we receive from suppliers in bulk, and then put through our process to make sure they are operable and clean them before reselling. We would also need a way to generate each code and assign each to a specific product.
