We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to research, spec, cost, plan and evaluate the feasibility of adding a specialty refrigerator manufacturing facility to our existing business.
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of refrigeration manufacturing, engineering and understanding of traditional technologies in home appliance manufacturing as well as the ability to research emerging technologies.
The candidate will be required to submit a complete and detailed cost analysis on the manufacturing and/or sub assembly of specialty refrigeration including:
1) Estimated cost of manufacturing equipment required: Origin China, NA and Europe
a. Metal fabrication, foaming, production line, punching, paint, charging, vacuum forming, injection moulding, packaging, automation etc.
2) Detailed factory flow and layout with recommendations for factory size including component storage, manufacturing, warehouse and testing
3) Major component sourcing vs. vertical integration cost analysis
