I currently have a Prestashop Ecommerce website - [url removed, login to view]
There are 2 things I am trying to achieve on the Product page, for the Colour Attribute, I won't be using HEX, I'll set all of my color atttributes to an image, and what I want the user to experience is that when they hover their mouse cursor over the color thumbnail images, I want a bigger version of it to popup so they can see the color at a large scale. And at the same time, I want the name of the colour to appear just above the color attribute choices. You can see this exactly how i want it to look like here: [url removed, login to view]
The only difference is that I don't want it to be that big and I want the image to move around depending on where you cursor is, not just static in one place. So like for example on that website, if you hover your mouse over the colour, see the bigger version of the colour just sits there fixed? I want it to move around depending on where you cursor is on the little thumbnail. I hope that makes sense. The hover image should used the same path as the thumbnail image to make it easier:

The other thing that I am having problems with Prestashop is on this page again - [url removed, login to view]
I will have different "Leather Types", and only certain colours are available for certain Leather Types, on the page above I have included only Red/Pink/Blue as the choice for Corrected-grain leather and only White/Black/Grey is available for Top-grain leather. But for some reason, when the user selects Corrected-grain leather, they can still see the White/Black/Grey color option? I want the White/Black/Grey to disappear and to show only the Red/Pink/Blue option and when the user selects Top-grain leather, the White/Black/Grey should be the only one that appears and the red should be hidden.
I should be able to manage all of this easily via the admin and it should all be seamless if i add new product combinations.
Only apply for this job if you meet the below criteria:
- Capable of doing every little thing I have asked
- Not going to screw me around and waste my time and not meet promised deadlines
- Do not go offline suddenly and not reply to me
- MUST send me hourly updates
- Will communicate and ask me questions if you need help to have things explained.
I have had a previous Indian work on the website and has FAILED to complete the tasks required. He was not able to complete all of it.
If you want to be awarded this project you MUST be able to complete the above brief and also the following. IF YOU CANNOT COMPLETE ALL OF THIS, DO NOT BID AND WASTE MY TIME. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF FREELANCERS SPENDING DAYS TO COMPLETE A FEW HOURS WORK AND WASTING MY TIME. FAILURE TO DO SO AND YOU WILL NOT BE PAID A CENT.
- You must be able to make sure the entire products page is still dynamic. This means after you have finished your work, if I go to the Admin area, if I add additional Leather Types and also additional Colors, it must all still be able to work seamlessly without any problems.
- You must be able to make sure that the specific colors are hidden dependent on the selection of the Leather Type. FOR EXAMPLE: Here are the example options.
Small - Corrected-grain - Blue
Small - Corrected-grain - Pink
Small - Corrected-grain - Red
Medium - Corrected-grain - Blue
Medium - Corrected-grain - Pink
Medium - Corrected-grain - Red
Large - Corrected-grain - Blue
Large - Corrected-grain - Pink
Large - Corrected-grain - Red
Small - Top-grain - White
Small - Top-grain - Black
Small - Top-grain - Grey
Medium - Top-grain - White
Medium - Top-grain - Black
Medium - Top-grain - Grey
Large - Top-grain - White
Large - Top-grain - Black
Large - Top-grain - Grey
Therefore, if the user selects "Corrected-grain Leather", they should NOT be able to see the color thumbnails Black/Grey/White
And additionally if they select "Top-grain" they should obviously should NOT be able to see the color thumbnails Blue/Pink/Red
This means, if I go ahead and go to the admin area and add another options, example:
Small - Corrected-grain - ORANGE
And then the user selects "Small" and "Corrected-grain" from the dropdown, they should see these thumbnails Blue/Pink/Red/Orange
if they select "Top-grain", it should still only show these thumbnails "White/Black/Grey"
It all must work seamlessly. There will only ever be 3 leather types: Corrected-grain/Top-grain/Full-grain
The colours will vary on each product so it all must work dynamitcally.
I have had an indian work on the website before, so you may want to replace the product template back to its original state or and start from scratch or work with what the indian has done already. Up to you.
