I have just returned from an 18-month volunteering trip, where I served as the Project Coordinator. During this period, I have appreciated the opportunity to harness the skills that are directly applicable to jobs in administration, operations, logistics and people management. Central to my success was the ability to work cohesively with business-wide cross-functional teams to plan, prioritize, organize and schedule activities and ensure targets were achieved. My recent work/personal experiences have been both challenging and rewarding, yet I still have a desire to face new challenges. I have decided to take a break from field work to spread my horizon and network capacities via a strong online presence by focusing on my passion for internet research, creative writing, data collection and analysis. I believe my experience as a transcriber, blogger, writer, and editor, and with high proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, PDF applications and other office administration tools, data entry, mining and analysis, a typing speed of 80WPM, and English as a first language (over 25 years) are invaluable overall.
