I need to turn a collection of Excel workbooks into a polished Power BI dashboard that feels effortless to use yet powerful under the hood. All data will stay in Excel for now, but the model should be clean enough that I can swap in a SQL or cloud source later without a rebuild. Here’s what matters to me: • Visuals – bar, pie, and line charts that clearly surface our KPIs. • Interactivity – slicer panels, cross-highlighting, drill-downs, drill-through pages, custom tooltips, and any other tricks that make exploration intuitive. • Performance – fast refresh from the original XLSX files and tidy DAX measures that remain readable for future edits. • Layout – responsive design that looks good in the Power BI Service and on wide screens. Deliverables 1. A fully-working .pbix file connected to the Excel data I provide. 2. Any Power Query steps, custom visuals, or theme files used. 3. A short hand-off document or Loom video explaining the refresh process and key calculations. I’ll validate the work by dropping in an updated Excel pack and walking through each drill-through path.
