I need an experienced plumbing designer or engineer to assess how best to tie a new 2-inch water line into the existing 2-inch main that runs through my retail space. The added branch will feed several washers, the customer-facing bathrooms, and our water heaters as part of a larger renovation and expansion now under way. The job is primarily an evaluation and planning exercise. I’m looking for a clear, code-compliant plan that I can hand to my local contractor and building department. Everything has to meet current local plumbing codes, so please factor those in from the start. Deliverables I expect: • A brief technical memo (PDF) summarising flow demand, pressure implications, and recommended tie-in location. • A schematic or scaled drawing (DWG and PDF) showing the new 2" branch, isolation valves, and any required backflow or pressure-reducing devices. • A materials and fittings list with sizes and specifications. • Notes on permits, inspections, and any other code steps we must schedule. If you have recent retail plumbing design experience and can turn this around quickly, I’d like to get started right away.
