We have developed the project in IFIX 5.9. We need to amend the following things. 1. In the alarm summary page, the available columns are Time In & Time Last. We need to have columns for Time In and Time Out of each alarms. Eg: If Motor trip is triggered at 10 am and cleared at 10.05 am. The alarm summary shall display this alarm, Time In as 10 am & Time last as 10.05 am. If the same alarm occurred at 10.30 am, it still shows Time In as 10 am, Time Last as 10.30 am. The first alarm was not even appeared in the page. Our requirement is Alarm summary must record each and individual alarm with time in and time out. If the same alarms triggered for 3 times, all the 3 times records must be there in the alarm summary page. 2. All the alarms and events must be recorded in the event log file which can be csv in format. The alarm summary page should have the filtering based on the equipment wise.

Hello Client, I have gone through your requirement. Basically this is called as alarm history & when the data points increase the same is handled by supplimentary products like "historian". I can do this task within the limits of your available software with additional coding. I have been doing the similar tasks day in day out for Automotive, Pharma, F&B industries since 14+ years on different platforms like Siemens, Schneider, GE, AB, Mitsubishi & moreover the solution is quite similar in all platforms. I have already developed a historian library code which fits in all the platform. You will definitely get the best solution with my products.

Thanks for reviewing. We shall do this using MS SQL Server DB, as this has already been done. Please clarify this... "Generate reports based on the above Events/Alarms 1) DB to iFix : All Alarms Cleared time 2) DB to iFix : All Alarms Acknowledge time" What is meant by 'DB to iFix" here? Can do this via iFix and also bypassing iFix (need to know the source of a&e data.) Reports can be also done via MS SQL Server or MS Excel. Have iFix already. Need the A&E event list also. Bypassing iFix will be easer than going thru iFix.
