Hii, I can help you create this indicator in pinescript. I will draw the zones from gapup/gapdown point to the point where the zone got invested(price closed above/below zone) if price didn't inverse the gap I will extend the zone it last bar. If like I can add an option such that you can toggle between inversion and mitigation as gap fill method. So that you can select when to stop drawing zone in inversion(price close above/below zone) or in mitigation(price touches the zone) Let's connect to discuss more. Should a gap box keep its original edges once price partially fills it, or shrink to the unfilled part? Your spec says the box stays as history, so I'd keep the edges fixed. One real limit: Pine caps a script at 500 boxes, so on long charts the oldest zones get dropped unless we accept that ceiling. I haven't shipped Pine indicators before, but I have 10 years of backend development behind me and this logic is small.
