We have an existing e-commerce built on Woocommerce. There is a connection to a 3rd party cloud service that is updating stock and prices through the wc-api v3. We have built a textfield with the plugin "Advanced Custom Fields". The textfield is displayed on the product edit page. The textfield is supposed to get EAN-codes (numbers) from the cloud service through the wc-api v3. The textfield is not showing in the wc-api right now. So what we need is a function, preferably written in the [url removed, login to view] in the child theme, that is publishing the textfield in the wc-api and at the same time also in the wp-json (if possible). The function should be written in a test environment (parallell site) with good documentation so that we can copy the code to the live site when it's done. There might be minor differences between the test site and live site so adjustments should be included.
