I own and operate an aerial media company in Spokane, Washington. I am looking for an engineer to take a DJI proprietary CineSSD card and accomplish the following:
- While keeping DJI's proprietary encrypted drive intact for recording, give me a cable that extends out of the back of the card that will enable me to record onto an externally mounted Samsung Extreme Pro SSD drive.
- The reason for posting: DJI has taken a stock SSD drive (link below) and marked it up by over 6X by somehow encoding the DJI Inspire 2 drone to only read their technology. I want to reduce the cost of filming, provide a better and faster drive to record to, and make it quickly replaceable once it fills up with Cinema RAW or Apple ProRes footage.
Finished Product: The finished product would be a DJI inserted drive with a ribbon type cable extending out the back that would bypass the memory chip and record onto my off the shelf SSD that I will 3D print a bracket for.
