I have a problem with my ecommerce website where it is using to much resource on my host and this means I keep getting 503 errors and customers cannot access the website.
Here is what the host says
I analyzed your resource usage for the last 24 hours and it has been more than the average.
I carefully investigated your case and it seems that the reason your websites were inaccessible at the time you posted the ticket is due to the fact that the cloud server you have with us, ran out of resources. The lines below are copied directly from the monitoring service on your server:
Dec 09 09:21:47 c59259: High load (62.45) reached!
Dec 09 09:21:54 c59259: High load (101.24) reached!
Dec 09 09:21:59 c59259: High load (133.54) reached!
Dec 09 09:22:06 c59259: High load (138.68) reached!
As you can see, the load avg value on the server got to a critical level of 138 units. A normal value for the load would be between 0 and 1 and a higher value means that the resources on the system are insufficient to complete all queued tasks. This is usually not a problem when the load is below 5 to 10 units and the queue of tasks is eventually cleared, but when it reaches a critical value, such as 20+ units, it just means that the resources are not enough.
When the server reaches a high load, the system kills the processes that were waiting most and once the load drops, the websites are back online.
I checked the access log and the same loop requests are keep going:
I need this fixing as soon as possible.
