WordPress Plugin Customization to "TouchCarousel" Plugin

I have 2 quick tasks to be completed on the same website here [login to view URL] On the homepage, I use a plugin called TouchCarousel to display the News and Events horizontal scrollers. Both carousels are created on the dashboard and have separate ID's. Task 1 - I need the Events carousel (ID=2) to display in ASCENDING order, but the first carousel to remain in DESCENDING. In the plugin's functions file I found where to make the change, but it would affect both. I need someone to write an IF statement, so that only carousel with ID=2 would be in ASCENDING order. Task 2 - Also on the Events carousel - In the TouchCarousel plugin i'm calling a metafield from my events plugin ( "_EventStartDate" created by Events Calendar Pro) to display an event date. The format that it's appearing in is currently "2016-11-10 18:00:00" but I need it to appear in a more friendly manner. Perhaps a [login to view URL] code can change this? Old event date display: 2016-11-10 18:00:00 New display I would like: November 10, 2016 6:00PM Also, I cannot share FTP access so all edits should be done within the WordPress Dashboard Plugin/Theme Editor.
