Brief

Create a hook to copy data submissions from form submissions on a WordPress site into an external database hosted on the same server.

DETAILS

The 3 types of form are:

• Artist creation

• Band creation (same table as artist)

• Album Creation

Artist/Band Creation

Copy the following fields into an external user table. Add scripts to update and delete

• Artist Name (post title)

• Id (incremental based on table)

• Genre (category)

• Artist Post ID (WordPress post)

• Artist Post URL (WordPress post)

• Artist Image* - (WordPress feature image need to physically copied the file. Use cropped square thumb)

• Artist Type (solo/band based upon which form is submitted)

Album Creation

Copy the following fields into an external user table. Add scripts to update and delete.

• Aid (incremental)

• Artist Id (taken from the artist row)

• Album Name (post title)

• Album Artwork* - (WordPress feature image - need tt physically copy the file. Use cropped square thumb)

• Status (set to 1)

• Cat_id (Category ID should match WP cat ID number)

• views (set to 0)

• Album Post ID (WordPress post)

• Album Post URL (WordPress post)

• Album Artist Name

• Album Artist Post ID

• Album Artist URL

Work will be conducted on a test site. The project will be deemed completed once the artist, band and album WordPress posts have been created, edited and deleted in the secondary database and the code has been implemented on the live site.
