A simple word press plugin to remove google's footprint from wordpress posts.
I'm using Google news search items as content for my word press blogs and want to remove some footprints:
- remove google's url by detaching the "url" query parameter, following is a sample url:
[url removed, login to view];ct=us/6-0&fd=R&url=http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/4611819a1864.html&cid=0&ei=MxFzSNH_HpH0_AHmxJGoAQ&usg=AFQjCNFVfPy_TcJXEC0BffHfqWO_kQLpmQ
- completely remove "all X news articles" line with related link (X would be a number with one or more digits:
- completely remove "X hours ago" part of news if there is any. X would be a 1 or 2 digits number
I think it could be done on the fly when showing posts by calling a function and no need to change original posts.
Each post might have 1 or more search item.
You can do a simple search at [url removed, login to view] to see how would be a post pattern.
